Although Black Grape went straight to the top of the charts with their debut album in 1995, Shaun Ryder’s post-Happy Mondays project with ex-Ruthless Rap Assassins man Kermit has always had a pretty poor reputation, and quite unfairly. ‘Orange Head’, the group’s fourth album and second post-reformation release, finds Black Grape in predictably swaggering form.
