Earlier this year, Garland Jeffreys released ’14 Steps to Harlem’, a provocative and personally charged urban rock record which sees Jeffreys’ deliver literate, emotionally raw lyrics coupled with a still supple voice capable of singing in a practically limitless number of styles. This New York native continues to record and perform with the energy of a man half his age.

He has now shared the new video for ‘Schoolyard Blues’ taken from his latest album.

“Deserves the status of American legend” (The Guardian)

“Delivered a lean, mean showcase set with the grace and class that one has come to expect from him” (SXSW, Austin Chronicle)

“His live performances and his joy for life are undiminished. He will still jump from the stage and strut through the audience. When one story ends there’s always another about to begin..” (No Depression)
