Directed by Ian Pearlman and DIIV’s Zachary Cole Smith, DIIV’s “Doused” video is a perfect snapshot of the band, their energy, and their early stomping grounds within the 2010’s Brooklyn DIY community that helped buoy a formative and prolific time for Captured Tracks as a whole. The live footage was shot at the Williamsburg venue 285 Kent (RIP), and echoes a time in Brooklyn when it was possible to see DIIV and many other beloved Captured Tracks bands play a DIY venue every other week.
