Molly Burch releases “Heart of Gold”, an irresistibly effervescent anthem for unrequited love. The new single from her upcoming album Romantic Images (out July 23rd via Captured Tracks) follows the release of recent singles “Control”, which Nylon praised for “its smoky vocals and romantic, timeless sound” and “Emotion” ft. Wild Nothing that earned a nod as one of Cosmopolitan’s Best Songs of 2021 so far.
“Heart of Gold” is accompanied by a video directed by Jordan Moser that serves up a dreamy, campy take on romantic music video tropes. From her mountaintop picnic and alongside a baby goat, Molly spies on guitarist Dailey Toliver through her opera binoculars.
