Following the single release earlier this month, Brazilian husband & wife duo Mixhell reveal music video for their latest Joe Goddard collaboration ‘Killer Whale’. Connecting with their motherland, Mixhell enlist the politically-driven collective Brechó Replay for creative direction.
Filmed in the streets of Brazil, the fun and playful video sees Brechó Replay tackling some of society’s perceived ideas on animals and humans. Delving deeper into the concept, collective member Leo Portilho says, “we thought about how killer whales are sweet and sociable, specially due to the romantic domestication of these animals which still happen to this date. In reality, these are ferocious animals who follow their instincts, the Orca is one of the worlds largest predators.”
