Beloved by the band and inspired by LCD Soundsystem, “Young Enough” serves as the album’s thematic centerpiece: the importance of being kind to yourself and taking ownership of how much growth you have experienced when looking back on experiences that made you feel frustrated, violated, or otherwise awful.

“Young Enough” came into fruition from a bold idea and an even bolder claim by drummer Sam Hendricks:

“I have an idea for a song that has one chord that never changes all the way through it and for some reason I know it’s going to be the best song on the album.”
