My absolute favourite album of the year, I can’t stop listening to this masterpiece! I’m going to channel my inner football pundit here and say that this really is an album of two halves. Starting off robust, rosey cheeked and full of purpose with the delightful “Fashun”, then steadily down to the depths of devastation, with the slow and meandering “Caroline needs”… I mean, that is a perfectly relatable comparison for this year!
With peppering’s of 70s George Harrison throughout this beautiful concoction and as Dave (last post) likes to add “Lou Reed swagger”, it really is a great album that you must hear.
