My choice for album of the year is ‘Shonk’ by Wicketkeeper. It came out in October and has barely left my turntable / playlist since. This and ‘Jump Rope Gazers’ by The Beths have been the Johnny Marr and Mike Joyce to this absolute Morrissey of a year.
