Heading into Spring with some great live shows. Here are our picks for April.

5th April

Sunflower Bean, Concorde 2, Brighton (See Tickets)

Their second album Twenty-two in Blue came out last week and has received great reviews. The New York trio will be touring the UK and will stop to play at Concorde 2 in Brighton.

Abi Wade, Nightingale Room, Brighton (See Tickets)

On the same night, Abi Wade will be playing at the Nightingale Room, ahead of her debut album ‘Beautifully Astray’ via Love Thy Neighbour. Abi’s music is deeply profound from her vocals to her orchestral arrangements and her incredible cello playing, this is truly a unique show.

11th April

Penelope Isles, The Green Door Store, Brighton (See Tickets) 

Brighton band Penelope Isles, will be playing at the Green Door Store, supported by Lingua Nada. A live show which brings hypnotic, bedroom pop soundscapes. Not to be missed!

14th April

Demob Happy, The Haunt, Brighton (See Tickets)

The trio has recently released their second album ‘Holy Doom’ and they’ll be playing at The Haunt this month. If you enjoy grunge fuzzed out guitars and poppy vocal hooks, this is your night!

20th April

Hinds, Concorde 2, Brighton (See Tickets)

Hinds are back with new music and they’re going to be playing at Concorde on Friday 20th April. The Spanish quartets’ new record, shows a more mature take on their songwriting

30th April

Amen Dunes, Prince Albert, Brighton (See Tickets)

Amen Dunes aka Damon McMahon will be playing a handful of shows in the UK. On the light of his upcoming fifth studio album, Dunes explores darker themes sublimated all through grooves.
