This is a beautiful record. Dark, eerie, emotional, and very captivating. It was released at the perfect time as the first lockdown happened in the UK in March. I would listen to this on the one walk we were allowed outside per day, and it created the perfect post-apocalyptic soundtrack to life. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys soundtracks / dark electronic music in general. I personally think this is a perfectly composed album.
Runner-ups would be the ‘High Fidelity’ soundtrack to the Hulu original series, as it is a great compilation, and Willie J Healey’s ‘Twin Heavy’ which is also a brilliant album.
